Grief.

Grief
“is.”

It appears unexpectedly.
… wears different costumes.
… sometimes puts a smile on our face.
… often brings sadness to our heart.
… is not predictable
in either timing or outcome.

Grief
“is.”

When we acknowledge its presence,
we give it its space.

And we recover
… somewhat.

Until
the next time,
when grief appears
and
“is”.

As the ebb and flow of grief
finds its way into your life in the coming hours, days, weeks, month, years,
may a gentle prayer
and warm shaft of healing light
wing its way to you,
encouraging you to remember
… you are stronger than you think you are.

Even through times,
when grief “is”.
