Treating one another
as a sacred being
may sound easy
but
… bullying
… abuse
… intimidation
… violence
… hatred
… war
… road rage
… prejudice
… gossip
… racism
… ageism
… sexism
… terrorism
… genderism
… religious intolerance
… injustice
… threats
… discrimination for any reason
continue to be on the rise.

We can turn that tide.
We can.
It’s possible.
One person at a time.

Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream.
I too have a dream.
It’s a simple dream.
I dream of a world
where every human being is treated
as the sacred being they are.

If we saw one another
… as sacred human being
If we encountered one another
… as sacred human being
If we communicated with one another
… as sacred human being
how could there be intolerance
how could there be any of the “ism’s”
how could there be anything on the above list

Human beings
… made in the image of God.
Sacred.

May we treat each person
as the sacred being they are.
