Dawn broke
through these trees in my back yard
on Winter Solstice.

Winter breaks through today
on Winter Solstice.

Will we discover “an invincible summer” within us?

In the midst of the world
where chaos and hatred and fear seem so prevalent
it is time to remember *all* of Camus’ text.

“In the midst of hate
I discovered within me
an invincible love.
In the midst of tears
I discovered within me
an invincible smile.
In the midst of chaos
I discovered an invincible calm.
I realized through it all that in the midst of winter
there was an invincible summer.
For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me,
within me there is something stronger – something better
pushing right back.:

Winter Solstice is a great day to begin.
Light, hope and healing
joy and inner peace await.

May the Winter Solstice’s
of hope and healing
… through me
… through you
… through this world.
